Applications
Let's talk on an example to understand the usage of Mindcell better supposing it will be used
in a school environment. Let's list briefly what we want to do:
-
To make examination using Mindcell, save the results of examinations, and make operations
on results like finding averages.
-
To represent a class and provide students with distant learning.
-
To assign home tasks to students using Mindcell and to create
a studying environment in which we can evaluate the answers simultaneously with the students.
To be able to use Mindcell in an application, first of all, we should develope a
suitable model.
So,
lets create our sample model;
Let dimension 1 be Students:
- John Barrow
- G.H.Hardy
- Robert B. Cialdini
- Georges Ifrah
- Seth GODIN
- Steven Weinberg
- John Lenihan
- James Gleick
- Luke Welling
- Laura Thomson
- Chris H.Pappas
Let dimension 2 be
Examinations:
- First Examination
- Second Examination
- Third Examination
Let dimension 3 be Classes:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- History
And Let dimension 4 be Tables:
- Examinations Table
- Class Notes
Table
- Tasks
Table
Let examination table consist of
the following fields:
- Question
- Answer1
- Answer2
- Answer3
- Answer4
- Answer In Text
- Answer In Selections
- Score
- Comment
Let Class Notes table consist of the following
fields:
- Topics
- Explanations
- Examples
- Questions
- Received Answer
- Evaluations
- Results
And finally let tasks table
consist of the following fields:
- Subject of Tasks
- Sources to Search
- Received Answer
- Comments
- Evaluations
- Results
After creating the model, we can
start to use Mindcell. When the data is entered and we practice on
Mindcell, it will get easier and its benefits will emerge.
There are three ways for multi-user case.
- For each student profile, creating client files and distribute them to the clients.
They will connect to the server with those client files.
- Creating profiles so that for each user, different fields will be loaded.
- Creating different passwords for each user and prevent them from seeing each other's
passwords.
Our aim with this example was to give an idea about the usage of Mindcell.
The functionality of Mindcell can entirely be understood only by using it. |
